Located one hour from Boise, Idaho, 40 minutes west of the Idaho Horse Center, and only a few minutes from the Badiola Indoor Arena in Homedale, Idaho, 5E Ranch and Bunkhouse is a place where you and your horses can relax and enjoy a ranch away from home.
We offer a bed and breakfast bunkhouse, new and modern complete with full kitchen, living room, laundry, two bedrooms and one full bathroom. The Bunkhouse sleeps 5 to 7 people.
Enjoy bed and breakfast complete with morning coffee, milk, juice, cereal, pastries and fruit. You are welcome to cook during your stay, or we can share a list of local small town favorites or chain restaurants.
Outside we offer a sandy area under the beautiful Idaho sky where we can configure our livestock panels to lodge horses separately or together. At the present time, there are no covered or indoor areas for horses. There is space to work your horses in the sand and go for a walk on our property. Your pets are welcome, but keep in mind this is a rural area, so keep an eye on your wandering critters or keep them on a leash.
Hose and electricity are available for your trailer with living quarters or camper.
Within 5 minutes you have access to restaurants, groceries and even bowling! Within 30 minutes you have all of the national retail stores, movie theaters and restaurants. There is space for children to roam and enjoy some freedom as well.
Enjoy the sights and activities of southwestern Idaho including the Treasure Valley Wine Region, Jump Creek Canyon, rockhounding, historic Silver City, the Snake River, and the Owyhee mountains. And downhill skiing, nordic skiing, snowshoeing and tubing just an hour and a half away!

Awsome fun!! We stayed at the 5E Ranch and Bunkhouse in October 2011. The bunkhouse is very nice, modern, and well equiped for all your needs and pleasure. For our very loved horse, panels were arranged for a single stall right next to bunkhouse so we could look out the window and watch him. Miles of wide open country to ride to your hearts desire! Highly suggest you call the 5E and reserve your time in Idaho.
ReplyDeleteWe are Nina and Pop, parents and grandparents who spent the past summer at the 5E Ranch and Bunkhouse. The Bunkhouse was our home for four months. We were very comfortable there, and it was exciting having the family horses so close by; just hop right on and take a ride through the hills. There's nothing like the Great Out West! At the Bunkhouse, you'll be right in the middle of the most beautiful country you ever saw. We'll never forget the millions of stars we counted from the front porch at nite, where we also watched the sky come ablaze in spectacular sunrises and sunsets. This is a sightseer's paradise. Our favorite haunt was Stanley and the Sawtooth Mountains. Pop would argue that wandering around Silver City was even better! No doubt you will soon find your own best places to write home about. Enjoy and Happy Trails to both you and the horses.
